Shillong, February 26: The truck carrying people to go to Nonglang Village to attend the KJP Synod Youth Church service while reaching the place Jadokroh around 18 Km from the District headquarter Nongstoin, the truck driver dash on cut wall of the road where ten people die on the spot and left many injured.
The truck carrying these people from the village Mawlum of Mawlangsu is of West Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya. Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills District Mr PD Sangma told SP News Agency that, he has deputed a Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police to go to the spot for inquiry the detail is still awaited.
The ADC confirm that ten people were die on the spot where the truck dash the cut wall of Shillong Nongstoin Road and the injured person was shifted to Nongstoin Civil Hospital the detail report on the incident is still awaited.
