Shillong, Sept 30: The BYMJ,Meghalaya has organized a Youth Parliament programme at BJP office, shillong on four topics, the Role of the youth in making new India, National Register of Citizen, Politics of Development versus Politics of Appeasement and Rise of Unemployment in Meghalaya.
The resources person were Mr Phuyosa Yobin, advocate Meghalaya High Court, Mr Tilok Das Gupta Legal Cell convener BJP Meghalaya,Mr David Kharsati Vice President BJP Meghalaya and Mr Egenstar Kurkalang BJYM President Meghalaya were present in the youth parliament.
The President of the BJP Meghalaya Unit Mr Shibun Lyngdoh inuagurate the function which was presided by Mr Nangkitbok Hoojon General secretary BJYM Meghalaya.
The interaction in this program were very interesting and successful which was vehemently participated by member of BJYM,and participants.
Some of the important points were resolved in the meeting to give suggestions to the state governments, that the State Government have to adopt or frame an appropriate Rule and Regulations for the purpose at the earliest and to constitute a Special Committee.
The State Government should create more vocational training centre and skill development centre in every district and sub-divisional head quarter. Take the opportunity to utilize properly the central scheme and programme like skill development,women empowerment, scholarship to the students, MUDRA loan, agricultural loan and subsidy etc.
The BJYM, appreciated the central government especially to Mr Prakash Javadekar union minister HRD for a response to our request to solve the problem of SSA teacher’s salary by providing another bonus package of 132 crores to Meghalaya in addition to 135 crores in the month of March this year
The BJYM also thank union minister Mr Nitin Gadkeri for providing 1.5 lahk crores for improving high way in Northeast and around 8000 for Meghalaya and for other projects. Said BJYM President Meghalaya Shri Egenstar Kurkalang
