Shillong, September 07: A meeting of the Indo-Bangla Border Grievances Committee was held on 3rd September, 2016 at Rongara Multi Facility Centre, Rongara, South Garo Hills.
The meeting was chaired by Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Mr Rophul S. Marak. Various agendas relating to the problems faced by the people of the area were discussed during the meeting.
The Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Mr Rophul S. Marak also laid a foundation stone for the Rewak Higher Secondary School on 5th September, 2016 at Rewak, South Garo Hills. The school is slated to be completed by 2017.
