Shillong, September 04: A three day long Works conference for Chief Administrative Officers of all units in Eastern Air Command concluded on 03 Sep 16. The conference was chaired by Air Marshal C Hari Kumar AVSM VM VSM , Air Officer Commanding – in – Chief, Eastern Air Command.
The conference focussed on evolving a way forward to achieve convergence in enhancing OP potential of bases in EAC Area of Responsibility(AoR), through station administration by providing operational and security infrastructure wherewithal. Also, the ongoing critical infrastructure projects including ALG in EAC AoR had been the focus of discussion.
The conference culminated with a trekking from HQ EAC to Laitkor Peak which saw participation of all the visiting officers from different units of EAC. The trek was flagged off by Air Vice Marshal Manvendra Singh VrC VSM, Senior Officer – in-Charge Administration, HQ EAC, IAF
