Shillong,April 01:The Labour Commissionner , Meghalaya Shillong has informed thad as per section 3 of the Meghalaya Shops and establishment act, 2003(act No.4of 2014)here by provide that every establishment within the state shall haveto be registered under this act and a certificate under this act and a certificate of registration is to be obtain from the respective District Labour Offices.
Any establishment found running in convention to the provision of the aforesaid Act and rules made there under will invite penal action.
