Shillong, July 06: The Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya Shillong has inforrned,that the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India has invited applications from individual and voluntary organization who have contributed their outstanding work in the field of National development and social service for the nomination of National Youth Award 2013-14.
For individuals person in the age group of 13-35 years and must have completed 13 years of age on the 1” April of the financial year for which award is to be conferred and should be less than 35 years on the 31St of March of that financial year. The person should have rendered service in the relevant field during the financial year for which award is to be given.
For voluntary organizations persons registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860 (Act XXII of 1860) or a corresponding State Act for at least 3 years and have a proper constitution or Articles of Association. Organized who have rendered service involving the youth for at least 3 years and must be a non-profit organization.
Detailed guidelines and application form may be obtained from the office of the Sports and Youth Affairs during office hour. Last date for submission of application is on or before 3 lSt July, 2014 said the official press statement.(SP News)
