Shillong, August 26: Meghalaya police informed that, the medical team of Riangdo PHC conducted a random test through Rapid Antigen Test today at Malangkona village whereby the public as well as the police personnel attended the random testing.
Around 72 police officials were tested by RAT out of which only one test of a police official came out positive. On being tested positive the police official was immediately placed under medical observation and the other officials of Malangkhona Out Post have also been placed under mandatory quarantine.
As a precautionary and preventive measure, Malangkona Out Post has been temporary closed with immediate effect and necessary protocols is being observed in disinfecting the Out Post premises.
The general public residing within the jurisdiction of Malangkhona Out Post are hereby requested to kindly approach Aradonga Out Post for necessary assistance and for official works, until the Malangkhona Out Post has been declared as fit for re-occupation.
