Shillong, Feb 20: The Villagers of Umsawli, in Langpih of West Khasi Hills District protested against the attempt from the Assam police to set up Police Outpost in the area on Wednesday.
From the video circulated about the incident that has taken place, one of the Assam Police shout to a lady ‘Hala Motkoro’ this come when the lady was protesting that the location which the Assam police want to set up police outpost belong to her.
The lady told the police that they come to the area without any information, from her side she will not allowed that the land that she has cultivated for so long will be taken from her at any cost.
From the Video was seen that the Meghalaya Police were also present and try to calm down the agitating crowds who gather on the place where the Assam police tried to set out their Police outpost.
A senior police officer from Assam side was also hearing in the Video that his police personals will not do anything but if the people are protesting they have to act.
