Shillong, April 03: BJP state unit feel that the teaching community in the state of Meghalaya are divided under the existing education policy of the state Government since there are so many segments of teachers in the state which makes the issue more complex
In Meghalaya teachers have been categorized into deficit, adhoc, planned, unplanned and private categories.
The party is of the view that teachers are feeling very discriminated due the policies of the Government and party has demanded equal pay for equal work to bring all categories of teachers on an equal footstep.
Party also expressed its concerned since the State Government has not invited the teachers for talks on the issue of provincialization of services of teachers in the State.
BJP leaders believes that the teaching community would be benefitted largely if the Meghalaya Government implements the much demanded provincialization of services of teachers.(SP News)
