Shillong, September 17: Inflaming the youngsters’ heart with zeal The Sacred Hearth Theological College (SHTC) Mawlai today organized its annual Youth Fest 2017 on the theme ‘Better Youth for Better Family’. About 600 youths took part from various ethnic communities of diverse religion in and around Shillong.
The Deputy Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Mr Marianus Minj in his address to the youth as the chief quest, urged the youth at the gathering never allowed to be carried by negative thought and always be honest with yourself.
The DIG of the CRPF, inspired the youth, that the youth always lead from the front, be good human being and will succeed in life embed with strong foundation in education, and he appeal always start the day with prayer. He said “We are all brothers and Sisters let us respect each one of us, one a family is better, we have better youth”.
“To succeed in life once has to select profession, dream for it, begin the work with determination once you start with self determination work is half done, ideas rule the world thought rule your life” said the DIG of the CRPF Mr Marianus.He urged the youth at the gathering trust yourself, once you trust you belief and first of all love yourself, and do good with sincerity, always be positive.
The Youth Fest is an annual event organized by the SHTC for the youth, in the afternoon session the Director HRD of the North Eastern Council Mr Siile Anthony is the Chief quest where cultural programme was held showcasing the different ethnic tribes of the region.
