Shillong, July 08: In exercise of the order confer by the government of India. Ministry of home affair (foreigners division) New Delhi, it has been directed that, all manager, proprietors of quest house, an Inn in East Khasi Hills District who have not register tier used IDs for submission of hotels, Quest House, and Inns’s report on On-line “C” Form should report to the office of the superintendent of police-cum foreigners registration officer East Khasi Hills Shillong for the register of the same.
More over for thus who have registered should submit the report online regularly within 24 hours of the arrival of the foreigners in their respective premise. All the owner, tenant of the private houses, boarding House Hostel, School, colleges, Universities, Churches, Mosques, temples and Hospitals should report to the superintendent of police if any foreigner stays studies in their respective institution.
All corporate houses, NGOs, Educational, Institution, Religious institution, Government and private institution, while inviting any foreigners to participate, in the meeting, Conference, seminars and workshop Etc should ensure that they should come on appropriate visa that is conference visa not on tourist visa expect thus who are coming on official passport.
More over no foreigner, holding tourist visa, will not allowed to involved in coverage of event or journalist activities, including in religious activities, public work, working employment etc on tourist visa but they should have journalist visa, entry visa, missionary visa, and employment visa, respectively because tourist visa is solely allowed for casual visit friend or relative, recreation sightseeing tourism and no others purpose activities.
All the concern authorities should comply with the above order and violation of the above directive, stringent legal action will be taken as per the provision of the foreigner act, 1946. Said the superintendent of police East KHasi Hills District in the press statement issued to media Houses.
