Shillong, June 22: The 23’d Conference of Director General of police, Inspector general of police and Heads of CPOs of North Eastern States will be held at at Director General of police Office Conference hall, Police Headquarters, Shillong on June 23 and 24 of this month.
The two days Conference would discuss and deliberate on agenda points relating to issues of internal Security and Regional Co-ordination among the Security agencies and Police forces of North-Eastern States.
The chief Guest of the Conference, Dr. Mukul Sangma, Chief Minister, Meghalaya would deliver the inaugural address. Home Minister, Meghalaya, Smt. Roshan Warjri would also attend the inaugural function of the Conference.
The 22nd Conference of the DGsP and lGsP and Heads of CPOs of NorthEastern States was held in Gangtok in 2A13. The Conference of North East DGsP and lGsP is being held on a regular basis since 1982. The first North East DGsp and lGsP Conference was held on May 19, 1982 at Shillong, Meghalaya.
