Shillong, January 03:: A TATA Indica proceeding towards Jowai from Shillong was involved in a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction on a turning. Five occupant of the TATA Indica sustained injuries when the collision took place at Mawlyngad under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills District today at 12:22 P.M.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Smit and Khliehtyrshi helped in shifting Mr Stepping Stone 30 years, Mr Joyli Syrti 55 years, Mr Struin Daw 45 years and Mr Seibormi Dkhar 32years and an unknown male in his mid thirties to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Om another accident A Swift Dezire ML04C – 3515 heading towards Shillong from Jowai collided with a Maruti car ML05F – 4472 on a turning near Lad Nongkrem junction at Laitkor under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills District.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Smit and Jowai helped in shifting Smti Maialang Dkhar 47years,Mr Iaraplang Sohtun 35years, Mr Pynbiang Nongrum 67 years,Smti Flowme Lyngdoh 40years, Mr Phrangshuwa Thubru 46years and Mr Ruhiiohi Adong 22years to Shillong Civil Hospital.
The incident happened on the 02nd of January, 2017 at 11:26 A.M. Maialang Dkhar, Phrangshuwa Thubru and Ruhiiohi Adong were occupant of the Swift Dezire. Iaraplang Sohtun and Flowme Lyngdoh were travelling on the Maruti car driven by Pynbiang Nongrum.
