Shillong, May 03: Shri Sanbor Shullai, MLA cum Chairman and the members of the “MLA Charitable Council” (MCC), 19th South Shillong Constituency have extended immediate financial and materials relief to all the victims (within 19th South Shillong Constituency) who were affected by the Hailstorm that had hit the city on the 17th April 2016.
The affected families were provided with cash and CGI sheets and other relief materials amounting to Rs. 75000/- (seventy five thousand) only funded through Shri S. Shullai, MLA salary earnings.
The victims had suffered extensively and lost their roof and other household goods, this support is only a preliminary help and the local MLA has duly taken up and recommended their plight to the Government for full financial help to the victims.
