Garo hills petrol pump to go ahead with their strike

Tura, Aug 16: The Garo hills petrol pump owner’s association today
decided to go ahead with their indefinite strike, as Meghalaya home
minister, Roshan Warjri is yet to respond to their demands.
The pump owners association is demanding for 24 hours security in
their service stations. In their letter to deputy commissioner, West
Garo Hills, the association has highlighted the failure of the
district administration to provide security to all stations in Tura.(SP News)
