Shillong, April 06: In view of the 12 hours bandh call by the band out fit the HNLC on the polling day, the government has taken stock of the situation to see that the general election to the 16th Lok Sabha will pass of peacefully.
Acting Chief Secretary Mr BPO Warjri told SP News Agency that the government has pose elaborate security arrangement for the polling day on the 9th of this month.
The security forces which the state governments have are sufficient enough to tackle any situation, if they could get more forces that will be better. He urged the public not to be panic.(SP News)
