Shillong, August 02: The special representative of the AICC Mr Mukul Wasnik deputed to Meghalaya to meet the MLA, the MDC and the party functionary to get their views on the party position in the state before facing the coming general election in 2018.
Speaking to media person after completing his exercise in meeting the MLA, and the party functionaries Mr Mukul said that he has met them and he has understand their mind from their views that they have put forth and now the party need to be strengthen and win the coming election in the state.
About the question of leadership he said that he has not come to discuss on the leadership issue but he has come to meet the party functionary to prepare for the coming election in the state so that the party will come with lager numbers in the election.
In this two days Mr Wasnik has taken great care in meeting the party workers and listen to them what they have to say. All the Congress workers the MLA, MDC, the District president from all the eleven district in the state has come and express their views.
