Shillong, November 30: Tomorrow will be the last day for all MDC candidates whose nomination paper is found valid as scrutinized by the returning office on the 28th of this month. There are 34 candidate are in the fray.
Any candidate who wishes to withdraw themselves from contesting this MDC by-election they can withdraw and tomorrow is the last day, and if no one is withdrawing then they will be on the fray and the symbol to independent candidate will be allotted by the returning officer.
On this MDC by-election the ruling congress party in the state has officially support the NCP candidate from Laban-Mawprem MDC Constitutncy. This party has sep up candidate only in six constituency out of seven constituency.
The UDP has set up candidate in all the seven MDC Constituency, KHNAM set up candidate only in three constituencies and the HSPDP has set up candidate in six constituency in the KHADC.
