Shillong, June 18: The Single Window Agency in the meeting which sit today clear 15 projects in the state, many of this project are in Ri Bhoi District and one each in West Garo Hills and West Jiantia Hills, while in East Jiantia Hills two and East Khasi Hills three, in form Dr Mukul who is the Chairman of the single window agency.
The Chief Minister said that from this fifteen, thirteen are clear in the meeting but two thought they were aproof by the Single window agency projects need more information, these two are related with livestock production.
Most of the project are ago base industries and packaging. In this meeting the state government has asked the line department like commerce and Industry Department and Mehglaya Industrial Development Corporation to preparer project that will attracts local investor.
The Chief Minister said that they will organize business submit for the local entrepreneur to present to them the power point and make them to understand better and the MICD will have to simplified the procedure for financing the project.
On the Garo Hills Sector he said that , its need uninterrupted power supply, with the completion of Agia Power line of 132KV he hope that power supply will be stable in Garo Hills.
