Shillong, June 10: Mr Ambrose Pala, Inspector, Mines Royalty, Umkiang Check Post under East Jiantia Hills District lodged a complaint that in the month of March this year, three persons, namely Mr Marshall Biam, Mr Ency Shadap and Mr Julius Nongtdu, went to the Check Post, demanded Rs. 30,000/- and threatened to lodge an FIR against him, if he fails to comply to their demand.
In the complaint Mr Pala said that due to out of fear, the complainant paid Rs. 30,000/- to them. Again, in the month of May 2016, they demanded money from him and also threatened him with dire consequences.
