Isolation Wards in Ganesh Das Hospital was increased by 25 beds to accommodate patients

Shillong, July 28: The Director of Meghalaya Health Service has order to increase the Isolation beds in Ganesh Das Hospital Shillong by 25 beds.

The Director Dr Aman War said that the incident what happened today in the hospital was that, the Hospital did not denied to admit the patient but there is no place to accommodate that why the hospital refer back the lady who come for delivery back home.

” I personally went to the hospital to fine out, when I inquired I found that there is only five bed in the isolation wards which is fully occupied, seeing the problem face by the hospital, I order to increased by 25 beds it was done today” Said Dr Aman.

The increased of this capacity was done in two halls in the new building, 10 beds in one hall and 15 beds in another hall. The lady that was refer back home in the morning was admired in the afternoon where he met the NGOs in the hospital.
