Shillong, July 18: A Mahindra Bolero (ML04B – 9634) proceeding towards Guwahati from Jowai overturned after it was involved in a collision with a Maruti car at Umbang under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District. Three occupant of the Mahindra Bolero sustained injuries during the mishap which occurred when the driver of the Bolero car lost control of the vehicle. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Umsning helped in shifting Phira Diang Manar (44years/female), Dathrang Manar (17years/male) and Daphikary Manar (10years/female) to Umsning CHC. The incident happened on the 18th of July, 2016 at 12:45 P.M.
Four occupant of a Maruti car sustained injuries when the vehicle was hit from behind by a truck and due to the impact, the Maruti car collided head on with a Mahindra Max coming from the opposite direction. The incident happened on the Shillong by pass at Umkrukru under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on the 17th of July, 2016 at 8:09 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Bhoirymbong and Umsning helped in shifting Enrichmond Nongbet (19years/male), Ferlinda War Dkhar (28years/female), Aphisha War Dkhar (5years/female) and Pynshemphang Nongrum (32years/male) to Shillong Civil Hospital. The Maruti car was travelling towards Shillong from Mawbri.
