Shillong, April 08: The Executive Committee of Mawlai Sports Club which met recently held a review exercise on the ongoing laying of astro-turf at the Club’s ground at Madan Heh. The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Board comprising of Headman of Mawlai, ex-functionaries of the Club, players and also members of the Technical Expert Committee.
The meeting reaffirmed its commitment to actively inspect the progress of the work and ensuring qualitative implementation. It expresses appreciation to the concern for a quality ground shown by the people of Mawlai.
However, it suggested that any such concern may be made known to the care taker of the ground, that is, Mawlai Sports Club with due information to the Headman of Phudmuri on which the ground is located so that any matter/issue may be suitably addressed to.(SP News)
