Shillong, April 20: Mr Egenstar Kurkalang BJYM (BJP Youth Wing)President Meghalaya Unit while appraising various problems of the people of the state before National Leaders of BJYM and MPs of the party including Shri Piyush Goyal Minister of State Independent Charge Power,Coal, New& Renewal Energy and Mines ,Smti Nirmala Sitharaman Union Minister of State Independent Charge Commerce and Industry in BJYM National Conference held at New New Delhi.
From Meghalaya represented by four members Mr Egenstar Kurkalang, Nangkotbok Hoojon General Secretary, S.Lyngdoh and R.Lapang National Executive members in an Interaction hours Egenstar Kurkalang raised the issues of SSA teachers in Meghalaya regarding the non compliance of State Government of Meghalaya to make full payment salary of SSA teachers as per the approval of PAB HRD minister since April 2016 which is 19044/-for L.P teachers and 20,493/- for U.P teachers respectively in the state of Meghalaya.
The BJP leaders from Meghalaya also highlight the failure of state government to solve the controversy arose in SSA Teacher’s D.El.Ed. Result with NIOS, in the meeting he said that it is the habits of State government to delay in releasing scholarship of the Students of the state.
Mr Kurkalang, further with the non cooperation attitude state government for proper implementation of public directs benefit schemes like Mudra loan, Free Gas Connection to Women, Maternity Benefit Scheme For pregnant women, LED bulb Subsidy Scheme as if the government is not willing or unhappy if the public get benefit from central scheme,in this regard BJYM Meghalaya unit request the central leaders to follow up with the concern authorities. regarding SSA Teacher Salary BJYM Meghalaya unit Submitted Memorandum to Shri Prakash Javadekar HRD Minister.
