Shillong, August 21: The state government of Meghalaya through the political department will sent copies of the Meghalaya Meghalaya Safety and Security rules, 2017, to all headmen in the state so that the village authority will be able to implement the rules in tackling influx.
The Commissioner and Secretary of the political department, government of Meghalaya Mr S Kharlyngdoh, inform SP News Agency that the rule is in the printing process once printing is completed the government will sent copies to all eleven respective deputy commissioner of all the District to distribute the rule to all villages.
From the state government will sent the copies to the Deputy Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner will sent it to the respective block development officer and in turned Block development officer will circulate it to all the villages under their respective block.
The State government has notified the Meghalaya Safety bad Security Rules 2017 on the 14th of August 2017, this rule come out after long agitation of the NGOs from the state of Meghalaya demanding form the state government to frames rule and regulation to prevent influx interring into the state.
