Meghalaya Police rescued two people from the hand of the kidnapper from Assam

Shillong, November 30:  The Meghalaya Police along with the Assam police managed to rescue two people from Meghalaya who were kidnapped by people from Assam on the 26 of this month by offering them bones of dwarfs.

The Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District Mr M Kharkrang said that,  on the 26th of this month Mr Ben G Langstieh of Mawprem and Mr Ilotstar Lyngdkhoi of Mairang Village went to Joggipa, Bonggaigoan  after received phone call form persons who offer  them that they have bone of dawafs.

The two persons from Meghalaya went to Assam but when they reached the palace they were pick up by two person in two bikes and took them to the undisclosed place and started demanding five lakh rupees from   them.

The family members of the two persons inform the police and the special team was form along with the counter part from Assam and the operation started and the kidnapers released them yesterday. The Police hope that they will soon nap the culprit.

From the police advice the public in general not to entertain calls such people who offer dwarfs bones, Pillars, Old Coins as parts of the rice puller hoax as these are criminals ploys for not only cheating people but vulnerable to thus gullible to such  beliefs to abduction for ransom.

The SP said that this similar cases happen in 2013, after the relatives’ paid sixteen lakh, the two person never turn  back till today, from the police asked people not to fall under such hoax calls from unknown people.
