Shillong, March 04: The Meghalaya State BJP today in various parts of the state woke up to a ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Run’, which translates into salutation to women power; women power which has always been close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s heart and is reflected in the various women related schemes that have been engineered under his guidance.
The Schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Ujala Yojana, Mudra Loan Yojana, Drone Didi Yojana, Lakhpati Yojana and many, many more bear the stamp of Modi guarantee and announce that the lives of women in our country have transformed like never before under his able, kind hearted leadership.
The run, organized by the BJP Mahila Morcha Meghalaya, saw enthusiastic participation in Shillong which clubbed runners from three districts – Shillong, West Khasi Hills and East West Khasi Hills.
The run was also attended by Meghalaya BJP Mahila Morcha president Susuki Pariat and was flagged off by BJP Chief Spokesperson Shri Mariahom Kharkrang, who was also Chief Guest at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kharkrang stated, “Over the last ten years, we have seen the Prime Minister’s continuous endeavor in uplifting the lives of women across every inch of this country.
Considering the huge dimensions of our nation, touching lives everywhere is a stupendously challenging task and only Modi Ji’s determination has made this new dawn possible for our women folk.
As a representative of a matrilineal society, I extend my personal gratitude to the Prime Minister, a feeling shared by numerous women of our state, which explains the large number of runners you see here.”
Susuki Pariat commented, that the run has been organized to demonstrate the determined spirit of our women and to express the gratitude that all we women feel towards Narendra Modi Ji for his endless striving on our behalf.
They have gathered together to also send him our blessings and to pray for his success so he becomes the Pradhan Sevak, our chief server, once again. After all, who else can guarantee women empowerment of this magnitude and at this speed.
