Shillong, May 16: A week-long summer adventure camp hosted by EAC commenced on Monday Nearly 50 participants including children and spouses of air warriors serving in Eastern Air Command (EAC) airbases, are participating in the Camp, being held at Air Force Station, Laitkor Peak, Shillong.
The camp is an annual feature hosted by EAC, coinciding with summer vacations of young students who are exposed to a spirit of adventure, love for nature and outdoor sports. The plethora of fun-filed activities lined up include physical training, yoga, trekking, cave exploration, horse riding, boating, zorbing, para-gliding, cultural activities, visits to Air Force installations, museums and other popular tourist destinations such as Cherrapunjee among others. The participants will also try their hands at archery, a popular sport in Meghalaya.
