Mr. Kuldeep Saini Inspector General BSF Meghalaya retires after rendering 36 years

Shillong, August 31: Mr  Kuldeep Saini Inspector General BSF Meghalaya retires after rendering more than 36 years of immaculate service in Border Security Force.

He was born on 1st Sept 1960, after graduating from Delhi University in Bachelor of Science he completed his LLB from Delhi Law University in the year 1983. After completing his academics, he joined the Elite Border Security Force on 17th Sept 1984 as Assistant Commandant.

He had joined Frontier Headquarter BSF Meghalaya on 8th Jan 2019. Having strong vision and strategy, he decided to exterminate prevailing trans-border crimes and BSF Frontier Meghalaya succeeded to ensure effective border domination and seized a sizeable goods and items worth more than Rs 61 crores approx, including incoming and  outgoing seizure including Yaba tablets, Hemp, cattle etc. beside apprehending smugglers and illegal entrants.

During the length of his unblemished service, he served at Baikantpur in West Bengal, North East Shillong and  Tripura, Kashmir Valley and Force Headquarters at various portfolios. During his 36 years of glorious service, officers was conferred with 05 DGs CR, Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2007 and President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2015.

On the eve of his retirement while addressing the troops he expressed his gratitude for the support he got from all the Ranks and wished them success and glory. He also conveyed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the civil administration for their timely assistance in curbing the Border Crimes.
