Mr Rajendra of the RPF from the N.F Railway receives Police Medal for meritorious service

Maligaon, August 14:Mr  Rajendra Baburao Rupnawar, an Officer of Indian Railway Protection Force Service -1999 Exam Batch who is presently posted as the Sr. Divisional Security Commissioner in Katihar Division of NFR has been nominated for the prestigious Police Medal for meritorious service on the occasion of Independence Day-2020.

Mr Rajendra Baburao Rupnawar has till date served over six Divisions throughout India including Howrah, Tiruchchirappalli, Danapur and Mumbai Central etc. over 5 Zonal railways and twice as the Commanding Officer of RPSF Battalions throughout India.

He has successfully handled crime in his jurisdiction which includes Red & Blue Coolie Conflict at Howrah, Naxalite problems of Danapur Division, various Railway Material & Booked Consignment cases and passenger crowd management of Sub-Urban Traffic over Mumbai Sub-Urban Railways. He has also successfully completed around 10 recruitments and number of tests for promotion of the staff.

His work was also appreciated with GM’s Award for best officer in year 2003-04 at Eastern Railway. He is also a recipient of National Award for outstanding performance in year 2007 and DG/RPF’s Insignia in year 2010. He also received the GM’s Award for Best Performance in year 2016-17 at Western Railway. He is outstanding officer with full enthusiasm, dedication and devotion to his duty.
