Shillong, June 04: Mr N S Samant, IAS (86 Batch), a senior officer of the Government of Meghalaya passed away on 27th May, 2014. He is survived by his wife and two children. The prayer meeting will be held at DI/116, Chanakyapuri, Satya Marg, New Delhi-21 on 6th June, 2014 from 12:00 Noon.
The members of the IAS and State Civil Service met in the Conference Room of the Meghalaya Secretariat and expressed their condolences on hearing the sad news of the untimely demise of Late Shri NS Samant and pray to God that He grant solace to the family in their hour of grief.
