Shillong, August 24: More than 630 candidates from different villages of Ri Bhoi District took part in the One Day Pre Recruitment and Counseling Programme under Chief Minister Career Guidance Scheme organized by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh in collaboration with the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Ri Bhoi District Nongpoh held at Science Hall, Nongpoh on 23rd August, 2016.
The programme was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Ri Bhoi District, Shri C.P Gotmare in the presence of Shri G.D. Kharwanlang, SP, Shri D.P. Kharsati, ADC and Smt. P.K. Sangma, EAC among others.
The objective of this Pre Recruitment Counseling Programme was to create awareness on the recruitment procedure among the candidates from rural areas who will be appeared for the recruitment to be conducted by the Meghalaya police on various ranks on 1st September 2016 and this programme gear up the youths with the necessary preparation both physically and mentally.
The Resource person on the day includes Shri N. Momin, DSP. Smt. N.Rabha, DSP, Shri P.S Marwein, Inspector and Shri H. Kharnaior, C.I Nongpoh who deliberately lectured on various topics like phases of exam, running pattern, OMR sheet and marking, tips regarding running how to increase the endurance and style and also lectures on various subjects like mathematics, general English, general knowledge, studying technique, interview etc.
