Shillong, August 23: One person sustained injury in an accident that happened on the 23rd August 2017. This incident happened at around 12.35 AM at Jaiaw Pdeng when one scooty with registration no ML05 P 3826, which was heading towards Robert Hospital went and hit the wall of the Presbyterian Church in Jaiaw Pdeng.
The driver of the scooty Nathaniel Rapsang 20 Male from Mawlai Nongpdeng sustained severe injuries. The injured victim was shifted to Dr H Gordon Robert Hospital by a Lairumkhrah based 108 Ambulance.
In another incident, the driver of an auto rickshaw was injured in an accident that happened at Gambegre in West Garo Hills District 17 Kms away from Tura. This incident happened at around 8.15 AM when one auto rickshaw which was travelling to Gambegre from Tura collides head on with an MTC bus that was coming from Purakhasia. Babylon Ch Marak 28 Male the auto rickshaw driver sustained injuries and he was quickly shifted to Tura Civil Hospital by a Tura Civil based 108 ambulance.
