Shillong, August 11: The Divisional Public Health Engineering of Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District filed an FIR with the police out post of Borsora that pipes intended to execute the work at Chimasora village for drinking water were found missing.
The Sub Division officer (SDO) Mr Batkupar Synrem admit that “yes the department has file an FIR on the 27th of July 2016 with the Borsora police out Post and the investigation is on they are yet to receive the report from the police” .
Base on the FIR of the PHE Department the police of Borsora has gone to Chimasora village on the 29th of July to investigate base on the complaint that they received from the Department but till date the office of the Divisional PHE of Mawkyrwat is yet to get the report.
The PHE Department has file the FIR after they received the complaint from the residence of Chimasora village that the PHE Pipes meant to connect for bring water connection to the village it was found that this pipe are used for fencing near Gilagora village.
The people from Chimasora village taken the photograph of this pipe which were erected and sent to the department to substantiate their compliant on the have hazard work done by the contractor whom the PHE Department has entrusted to do the work for providing drinking water to the village.
The residence of the village said that the work of water connection to their village is yet to be completed. The PHE Pipes which of 20 feet long has been cut in pieces that were used for fencing.
