Shillong, February 09: The police of Laitumkhrah Police station who investigate the alleged human trafficking and sexual abused to a 14 yraer old minor girl register with the Laitumkhrah police station has chargsheetted Mr Julius Kotbok Dorphang an MLA from Mawahti and five others who were alleged to be involved in this human trafficking case.
The case was register in Laitumkhrah police station case number 239(12)16 whereby a 14 year old minor girl was subjected to human trafficking and sexual abused in a quest house at Motinagar, Shillong, the IO of the case, inspector M N Khan, officer in-charge Laitumkhrah, has chargeshetted the following arrest accused for their involvement in the case and submitted in the court of special judge POCSO, Shillong Court, namely Mr Julius Kitbok Dorphang 52 years. Under section 5(C)/(I)/6 POCSO Act for committing aggravated penetrative sexual assault by a public servant and committing the same more than once.
While Smti Monami Parbin 27 years, Smti Darsisha Mary Kharbamon 22 years, and Smti Monalisa Shangpliang 22 years are under section 366A IPC R/w section 77 juvenile justice Act, R/w Section 5 I.T.P Act, R/w Section 17 POCSO Act for procuration and inducement of a minor girls for illicit intercourse with another person, inducement for prostitution and abetment for any offence under POCSO Act.
Shri Sandeep Biswa 27 years, Elbert Shemphrang Kharlukhi 31 years is under section 17 POCSO Act. The police have examine forty-two witnesses in this connection and supplementary chargesheet will be submitted shortly against the above after further evidence is received.
