Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra  addressed virtually party workers on self-reliant economy

Shillong, Feb 02: The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi today addressed virtually party workers on self-reliant economy  and Budget 2022 today at 11am in a live telecast via video conferencing across the country.

In Shillong, programme for the telecast was organised at BJP State Party Office, which was attended by BJP State President, Shri Ernest Mawrie, State Office Bearers, State Executive Members, District Office Bearers and other karyakartas.

Similar programme was also organised at Tura and Nongpoh attended by Senior Party leaders and other karyakartas. On social media handles this programme was hugely publicised and a large number of people heard and applauded the PM’s speech.

In his address PM Modi spoke on self-reliant economy, need for focus on farming, GDP growth, rise in public investment in the last seven years which will help promote FDI and create modern infrastructure in the country, and the huge rise in exports which is imperative to build a New India on foundation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

While speaking on the vision behind Budget 2022, PM Modi said that it is imperative to take the country forward at a rapid pace by strengthening our economy. He highlighted amongst others on basic amenities provided in the Budget for all.

The Prime Minister pointed out more particularly for the poor, the middle class and the youth and tax benefits for start-ups. PM Modi said that the people friendly, progressive Budget of 2022 is full of possibilities for infrastructure investment, growth and jobs.
