Shillong, August 27: In view of the report received that a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 was in R. B. Collection Store at G. S. Road, and the COVID-19 positive case requires aggressive contact tracing, quarantine, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of health of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.
The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District in exercise of powers conferred under the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof for containment of outbreak of COVID-19 in an order issued on 25th August, 2020 has directed R. B. Collection Store at G. S. Road to temporarily remain closed until further orders.
