Shillong, January 11: Shillong Lajong FC will play their next I-League match against Mohun Bagan on 13th January in Kolkata at 7PM. The match will telecast live on Ten 2.
Lajong Gaffer Thangboi Singto said, “The team’s performance in the last match was satisfactory but the result was not. We need to keep the ball better under pressure. The approach for the next match is to play positive football and go for a win.”
The team will look to deliver a much improved and better performance in their second game of the I-League on Friday. Dan Ignat, the Club’s new signing from Romania also feels that the team will do much better in the games to come. He said,
La jong said “We lost our first game against the defending champions and also a very good team in the league. It wasn’t the result we expected and hoped for but we don’t want to complain either. All we need to do is move on and focus on our next match. The aim is to achieve a better result, be united, work harder and get the three points on Friday.”
