Shillong, May 16: The Shillong Lajong Junior Reds advanced to the semifinals of the U-15 SSA Football Tournament in Polo Ground today.
The Lajong Juniors won by 3-1 in the tie breaker versus Langsning SC. Wadajied, Wanpynskhem and Pynshngain were the goal scorers for Shillong Lajong in the penalty shoot out while Treimiki Murong scored for Langsning SC.
Lajong Juniors will play the semifinal match with either Umlyngka or Sohryngkham on May 20 in Polo Ground.
