Shillong, December 21: Neroca FC, the first team from Manipur to qualify in the I-League, arrived in Shillong on Wednesday night and begun their first practice session today at Polo Ground.
They played their last match against Mohun Bagan which ended in a goalless draw on 19th December in Kolkata. The Manipur outfit is currently in the 5th position with 7 points while Shillong Lajong is in the 2nd position with 10 points. Lajong will be going into this match on Saturday after winning the first North East Derby of the I-League season by 1-0 against reigning champions, Aizawl FC on 18th December.
The tickets for the North East Derby between Shillong Lajong and Neroca FC Manipur will be available on Friday and Saturday at The Mobile Centre Police Bazaar, Sports Spirit MUDA Complex Police Bazaar and SSA Stadium Counter, Polo. The season tickets with new rates for the 7 remaining home matches of Lajong are also on sale in the same counters.
