Tura, August 22: A conglomeration, of all NGO’s, school children, from East Garo Hills District today hold the peace rally in Williamnagar, commending thus people who are involved in killing the school headmaster of Jingmagre LP School.
In this peace rally thousands of people come out to take part in the rally, In the rally teachers community, NGO’s, school children caring their placard demanding justice that culprit who are involved in this heinous crime should be book and punished.
After the peace rally, from the SSA Teachers Association submit the memorandum to the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma demanding an ex-gratia payment of ten Lakh for the next of keen of the decease within a period of two week.
Mr Madison CH Marak was a school teacher and headmaster of the Jingmagre LP School in East Garo Hills District; he was bitten by suspected militant and succumbs to his injured. This incident has created fear psychosis among the teachers community who served in the rural area in Garo Hills.
