Shillong, October 08: The Teachers who are train with the National Institute of open Schooling (NOIS) sent by the state government in their meeting decided that if their result were not declare by the end of this month, they will stage a dharna in the secretariat.
Speaking to media person after the meeting held at the Khasi National Dorbar Hall Shillong, where representative from each district participate, Mr N Dkhar said that, this is the responsibility of the state government to take up the issued with NOIS, since they have sent them for training in this institution.
He Mr Dkhar also inform that in the meeting with the Director Education Researcher and Training, it appears that the NOIS authority did not gave written assurance that they will declare the result by the end of this month but verbally they have assured.
The teachers who were train by NOIS in 2013, they were worried because this training will lapse on the month of December, from the teacher’s community who were train by NOIS demand that the government should extend the validity period. “It’s not our fault is the fault of NOIS”.
They also threaten that if NOIS could not declare the result correctly they will not allowed to set up their office in Meghalaya, this teachers who were agitating are the first batch who were train with NOIS all together 3000 and the second batch 4500 and the third batch is 3000. ‘We do not want to see that this two batch after them will face the same problems” said Mr Dkhar.
