Suspected Bangladeshi national succumbed to his ailments at Tura Civil Hospital

Shillong, April 12: The Police of West  Garo Hills District inform that on 06.04.2023 at about 01:15 AM, the villagers of Rengrampara, of  Chandabhui under Dalu Police Station of West Garo Hills brought one unknown person.

This injured person is suspected to be non-tribal Bangladeshi national in an unconscious condition and reported that the said person was found lying unconscious on the roadside of the village.

Accordingly, the person was sent to Dalu CHC for medical treatment and the attending Medical Officer referred the person to Tura Civil Hospital for better medical treatment. However, on 08.04.2023 a report was received that the said person succumbed to his ailments at Tura Civil Hospital.

Accordingly, inquest over the dead body was held and upon completion of Post Mortem and observance of all legal formalities, the dead body is kept at Morgue Room, Tura Civil Hospital.

In the light of the above, it is to be informed that if any claimants for the said dead body may please contact Tura Civil Hospital or following contact nos. (1) 6009308862 CI-cum-OC Dalu PS (2) 8837423053 Police Control Room, Tura, within seventy-two hours from the date of release of this Press article.
