Shillong, July 05: The General secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in charge Meghalaya Dr CP Joshi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to repeat Arunachal Pradesh like situation in Meghalaya.
Speaking to media person after meeting the party workers at the Congress Bhavan the Dr Joshi denied that there is a rumbling with the congress party, but instead he blame the press for crating the hype in the media.There is no discussion on the leadership issue he said.
Answering to queries he said that he did not know anything that there is problem in congress party, but he said the party will gear up for the coming election for the 2018 and the congress party will again form the government.
When asked about the chief Executive member of the KHADC MR PN Syiem for not attending the meeting, he said that the MPCC will know better. The AICC general secretary went on saying that there is no problem with the party all is well, but in a big family some time misunderstand do happen.
The MPCC president Dr DD Lapang, admit that there is a difference in the leadership issued that they have put their complaint earlier with Narayan Sawamy, he went on to say that since congress is a democratic party this problem are not new thing it do happen he said.
