Shillong, March 18: The Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya, Shri B.D.R. Tiwari, on 16.03.2024, inspected the Strong Room at Polo Ground, Shillong, along with the District Election Officer, Addl. Deputy Commissioner (EL), Asstt. Commissioner incharge Strong Room) and E.E. PWD (Building).
The CEO instructed E.E. PWD (Building) to expedite the repair of Strong Room with all safety measures. The CE0 also reviewed the arrangement for Dispatch & Receiving Centre, Counting Centre and Polling Personnel welfare measures. He was accompany by the Deputy Commissioner Election East Khasi Hills District.
