Tura, October 02: The Local MDC of Silkigre Mr Augustine R Marak who is also the Deputy CEM of the GHADC said that “I strongly condemn on the kidnaping of 9 Assam traders by miscrents from Weekly Silkigre market very recently”.
This particular incident incident brought huge fear in the mind of the people of the area and damaged normalcy weekly marketing. He also appeal the kidnapers to release the traders unharm, hence the situation should be back to normalcy.
Mr Marak said that almost a year, he keep writing and talking with the Home Department to set up the Anti- Dacoity Camp at Silkigre but the concern department is delaying to do it. AD camp is highly required in the Silkigre area said Augustine R. Marak, MDC Silkigre Constituency.
