Shillong, April 26: The Chief Election officer of Meghalaya Mr F R Kharkongor said that, the Election Commission of India today announced that bye election to Ampati constituency will be held 28th May and the counting will be on 31 May.
Filling of nomination will begin from 3rd May and the last day for filling nomination will be on 10th May Scrutiny of nominations will take place on May 11 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is May 14.
