The Governor of Meghalaya, inaugurated the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Raj Bhavan

Shillong, July 02: The Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Ganga Prasad inaugurated the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at the lawns of Raj Bhavan, Shillong today. The programme was organized by Raj Bhavan, Shillong in collaboration with the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society (MACS), State Blood Transfusion Council.

On this occasion the governor Mr Ganga Prasad also felicitating the parents of (Late) Major David Manlun at a function organized in commemoration of State’s Martyrs at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

The governor also  handing over a certificate and trophy to the winner of the “Run for the Martyrs” at the function held at Raj Bhavan, Shillong that was held recently. The Run was organized by the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills District in collaboration with Raj Bhavan, Shillong on 30th June, 2018.

Today the  Governor also handing over the certificate to the winner of the “Extempore Speech Competition” at a function organized in commemoration of State’s Martyrs at Raj Bhavan, Shillong on 2nd July, 2018. The competition was held at Raj Bhavan, Shillong on 30th June, 2018.
