Shillong, February 09: The Chief minister Dr Mukul Sangma today said that the political appointment of Mr Julius Dorphang an MLA who was in judicial custody has been denotified by the government he remains as an MLA.
When asked about the Home Minister whether he will take away home portfolio or drop him from the ministry, the Chief Minister said that, he did not find anything against him till today that warrant him to drop from the ministry or to take home portfolio.
And on the alleged against the former Governor V Shanmuganathan, he said the government is seeking legal opinion on this regard not only from one sources but also from others sources, after getting legal opinion then the government will look into it, he said.
