Tura, August 06: The Garo student Union president of the Mindikgre Regional Unit MrGreneth M Sangma has file an FIR with the Bahgmara police station against the Brach Manager of the SBI Baghmara for it delay in opening account for the beneficiaries of job cards and BLP for South Garo Hills.
In the FIR, the GSU President alleged that the Branch Manager of the SBI in Baghmara keep on delaying for the opening of the saving bank account of the beneficiaries of Job Cards and BPL of the South Garo Hills.
This delay is to thus people who has submitted their amount through the BDO Baghmara from 6th April this year till date they are waiting for their passbook but till the date that he file this FIR on the 5th of this month they have not get their account number so that they can submit to the office.
The BDO has told the beneficiaries that they should get their account number but when they went to the Bank they fail to issue the the account number. From the GSU felt that this is an harassment to the people of the Area they have no alternative but to file this FIR against the Branch manager and the GSU terms it as negligence of duties.
